A programme designed to combine both theoretical and practical content in which each student:

  • Will learn to prevent diseases, improving gums or respecting the biological space.
  • Will acquire the ability to correctly diagnose the different pathologies in these tissues and how to solve them, aware of the prognostics of the techniques they carry out.

Practice on pig jaws

  • Design of the lateral shift grafts and the different stitching techniques to ensure its stabilisation.
  • Design and procurement of free gingival grafts, preparation of the recipient site, placement and stitching.
  • Design and procurement of connective and bilaminar tissue, preparation of the recipient site, placement and stitching.
  • Design and lifting of flaps, resective techniques, crown extensions and stitching techniques.

Practice of all techniques learned on cadaver heads. (Módulo EXTRA opcional)

By way of an optional extra module, Vericat Formación offers the possibility of carrying out these practices on cadaver heads in order to ensure that the different surgical procedures are as similar to a real patient as possible.
